Credible sources reporting Turkish military buildup on Syrian border & alerts in Israel and Saudi Arabia

Bookmark and Share

What were rumors yesterday are becoming fact today, i.e., there are now credible reports of military alerts and mobilizations in Saudi Arabia and Israel while the Turkish military continues to buildup forces on its border with Syria.  While most believe that Turkey is not going to directly retaliate for last week's downing of a Turkish jet by Syria, actions speak louder than words.  Also note this latest Breaking News tweet concerning the situation:
Turkey's security council says will respond to Syria's 'hostile' downing of jet with determination and within international law -
What does that mean?

Here's some key stories from today worth reading:

CBS: Turkey sends heavy weapons to Syria border

(AP) ANKARA, Turkey - Turkey deployed anti-aircraft guns and other weapons alongside its border with Syria, state television reported on Thursday, days after the downing of a Turkish military jet by Syrian forces heightened the tensions between the two countries.

A small convoy of military trucks, towing anti-aircraft guns, entered into a military outpost in the border village of Guvecci, which faces a Syrian military outpost across the border and where Syrian forces and rebels clashed in recent months, TRT television footage showed.

Several anti-aircraft guns have also been deployed elsewhere alongside the border. Some trucks were seen carrying self-propelled multiple rocket launchers, TRT footage showed.

Arutz: Turkey Placing Aircraft on Syrian Frontier

Turkey confirmed reports Wednesday that it is deploying troops, including fighter jets and anti-aircraft guns, along its border with Syria.

“I can confirm there are troops being deployed along the border in Hatay province. Turkey is taking precautions after its jet was shot down,” an official told reporters on condition of anonymity.

The troop deployments come amid rising tensions between Ankara and Damascus following the downing of a Turkish F-4 Phantom jet by Syria over the Mediterranean last week.

PressTV: Saudi military on state of high alert on king's order

Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud has ordered the country’s security forces to go on a state of high alert due to what he calls a 'turbulent situation' in the region.

King Abdullah issued the order in a "top secret" letter addressed to the kingdom’s security and intelligence chiefs as well as the ministers of defense and interior.

A copy of the letter, dated June 27, 2012, has been obtained by Press TV.

The decree, calling for preparation against “foreign or terrorist attacks,” warns the Saudi security forces against any negligence in following the order.

JPost: IDF bolstering defenses along Syrian border

The IDF is bolstering defenses along the Syrian border and beefing up its forces due to concern that terrorist groups are planning a cross-border attack in the Golan Heights, commander of Division 36 Brig.-Gen. Tamir Hyman said on Thursday.

Hyman briefed reporters during a tour of borderline military positions throughout the Golan Heights. Division 36 is the IDF formation in command of the Golan and Israel's border with Syria.

"Our assumption is that a terror attack or a war can happen without warning," Hyman said. "We are upgrading our infrastructure and renewing operational commands to prepare accordingly."

Israel's concerns range when it comes to Syria and includes the option that the country's advanced weaponry - like Scud missiles and chemical weapons - will fall into rogue hands as well as the possibility that Global Jihad elements operating in the country will try to attack Israel along the border.

UK Telegraph: Turkey asks Nato about a no-fly zone as Syria makes it clear that it's ready to fight dirty

According to a US  government source privy to the Nato meeting called by Turkey on Tuesday, Ankara has requested that the alliance draw up contingency plans for a no-fly zone to protect Turkish territory in the event of further acts of Syrian aggression. Turkey invoked Article IV of the Nato charter, which calls on the alliance to “consult” together whenever one of them deems that the “territorial integrity, political independence or security” of any member is threatened, after Syrian air defence systems shot down a Turkish F-4 Phantom jet that was conducting a training exercise. The Turks say that the plane dipped briefly into Syrian air space but was targeted and destroyed 13 nautical miles from the Syrian coast, in international air space. A rescue plane dispatched to search for the pilots was also apparently fired upon.

“The Turks purposefully left it vague and didn’t provide many specifics,” the source said. “But they also didn’t give [Nato] members a heads-up before the meeting that they’d be asking for this and everyone was surprised.”

The concern here remains what I've been warning about for more than 20 years, i.e., a future chemical SCUD missile attack on Israel like I foresaw in my February 1991 apocalyptic vision.  Obviously, if a regional war erupts over Syria, the potential for chemical SCUDs being launched against Israel will be considerably high.  Should such an event occur, then know with near certainty that World War Three has begun and a full-scale Russian nuclear attack against the U.S. and Western powers is imminent.

The Harbinger & The Assyrians

Bookmark and Share

A ceremony took place Monday at Ground Zero in New York City to mark the hoisting of the final beam to the top of 4 World Trade Center, the first of the main towers to be rebuilt in the wake of 9/11:
NEW YORK (AP) — A final steel beam was lifted Monday atop a new World Trade Center skyscraper — the first expected to open at the site next year since the twin towers were decimated on 9/11.

With BeBe Winans singing "God Bless America," workers raised their hardhats in tribute as the mammoth beam rose slowly into the Manhattan sky, swaying from a steel rope hoisted by a crane.

A U.S. flag attached to the bottom of the beam fluttered above several hundred spectators at the topping-off ceremony.
This topping-off ceremony comes two weeks after a visit to Ground Zero by President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama during which the American leader symbolically inscribing one of the steel beams that will be part of One World Trade Center ("Freedom Tower") - "We remember, we rebuild, we come back stronger!" followed by his signature:

As noted in my June 14th blog, President Obama's inscription eerily buttresses the case made by Jonathan Cahn in his book, The Harbinger, that America is fulfilling a prophecy from the Book of Isaiah that forewarned the destruction of ancient Israel:

“The bricks have fallen down,
but we will rebuild with dressed stone;
the fig trees have been felled,
but we will replace them with cedars.”
[Isaiah 9:10]

For the majority of folk who come across Jonathan Cahn's work, one major point of doubt is the notion that the U.S.could be suddenly vanquished like ancient Israel, thus upsetting Americans' all-too lofty pride. After all, the U.S. now stands supreme on the world's geopolitical stage and has by far the most modern and powerful military. So how could we ever be taken down?

I think, in this regard, it is important to note what world power brought down ancient Israel in fulfillment of Isaiah's prophecy in the 8th century BC. Ancient Israel fell victim to the Assyrians, i.e., what is Syria in the modern world.

Is this somehow prescient given, as noted in my prior blog, that Syria might soon be at war with Israel, America and NATO?

I believe so.

Note that when the Assyrians over ran ancient Israel, they were led by King Shalmaneser V:

This king bears an eerie resemblance to the current ruler of Syria, Bashar Assad:

Given my belief in reincarnation, this is likely not a coincidence.

Keep in mind the prophetic vision I experienced in 1991 connected to the Bible's Book Of Revelation.  It began with seeing a special report of a chemical SCUD missile attack on Haifa, Israel.  It seems rather telling that at the current juncture the nation most likely to unleash such an attack is Syria.  Indeed, there is grave concern in Israel about the threat posed by Syria's chemical weaponry:
Syrian President Bashar Assad, termed by Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Joel Brinkley as the “world’s most dangerous man,” could use his chemical weapons in Israel, warns IDF’s Number Two general.
Assad would "treat us the same way he treats his own people” if he had the chance to do so, IDF Deputy Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Yair Naveh said in Jerusalem in a  ceremony Monday in memory of fallen soldiers. [Arutz]

Of course, even if Syria were to lash out at Israel with chemical SCUDs, few see how this could lead to the destruction of America.  Nevertheless, this is what this blog has been seeking to spell out for years, i.e., that the "Old Enemy", i.e., Russia, China and the totalitarian states of the East, are setting the stage to defeat Israel, America and the Western powers in a surprise third world war. I believe Syria is a key part of this strategy.

Turkey sends tanks and military equipment to Syrian border

At the end of last week (with the square of Uranus and Pluto) Syria shot down an unarmed Turkish RF-4E reconnaissance jet that had strayed into Syrian air space.

Following an emergency meeting of the NATO council today, the Western military alliance said that the Syrian action was "unacceptable". NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said the alliance condemns the incident "in the strongest terms," and expressed solidarity with Turkey.

Furthermore, Turkey's prime minister said today that the Turkish military will respond to any future violation of its border by Syrian military elements.

"The rules of engagement of the Turkish Armed Forces have changed," Recep Tayyip Erdogan said. "Any military element that approaches the Turkish border from Syria by posing a security risk and danger will be regarded as a threat and treated as a military target." [More...]

Apparently to make good on this threat, Turkey has started to deploy tanks and other military equipment near it's border with Syria:

Turkey sends tanks and military equipment to Syrian border
June 26, 2012

ISTANBUL - Turkey has deployed a large number of military vehicles to the Syrian border, daily Milliyet reported.

The shipment included 15 armored tanks, in addition to long-distance guns and other military vehicles. The convoy was heavily guarded as it moved toward the border in the event of an attack by outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) members.

Military units reportedly increased security measures on the border following recent events that have strained bilateral relations.

In a related development in the region, 13 zones near Hakkari, Diyarbakır and Şırnak have been declared temporary militray security zones. Diyarbakır Governor’s Office said yesterday in a written satement that no civilians will be allowed in the mentioned regions between July 6 and Oct. 6 since shooting drills will be exercised in those areas.

Elliott Wave Update

The stock market dived more than two percent today in what might be the start of a minor-degree third wave down of Primary Wave 3 down (AKA the 'Apocalypse Wave') according to the Elliott Wave Principle:

What does this mean?

In a nutshell, this turning point could involve the end of the world as we know it in that, in the context of historical cycles, mass mood is about to enter one of the most negative periods since the Great Depression and World War Two. Indeed, it is noteworthy that on June 24th an exact square of Uranus and Pluto will occur that has not been seen since the Great Depression.

As noted in recent blogs, there's reason to believe that world history is being shaped according to astrology by TPTB.

Will this prove relevant here?

We will soon see...

Turkish jet downed by Syrian air defences - Al-Manar TV
BEIRUT | Fri Jun 22, 2012 10:59am EDT

(Reuters) - Lebanon's Hezbollah-owned Al-Manar television station said on Friday that Syrian air defences shot down a Turkish military aircraft, quoting Syrian security sources.

"Syrian security sources confirmed to a Manar correspondent in Damascus that Syrian defence forces shot down the Turkish fighter jet," a news flash on the Beirut-based station said.

Turkish army says it lost contact with plane
June 22, 2012 • 09:15 AM

Turkey said on Friday it had lost contact with a military aircraft while it was over the sea off the southeastern province of Hatay, which borders Syria.

CNN Turk television said the aircraft had crashed in Syria. There was no immediate official confirmation of that report.

In a statement, Turkey's military said a search and rescue operation was underway after it lost radar and radio contact with the plane after it took off from Erhac Airport in the eastern province of Malatya.

UPDATE: The Harbinger

Bookmark and Share

BLOGGER'S NOTE: This post is related to my April blog, "Jonathan Cahn: The Harbinger". The Harbinger is a book written by pastor/rabbi Jonathan Cahn regarding parallels between the last days of ancient Israel and current events for America centered around the prophecy of Isaiah 9:10:

“The bricks have fallen down,
but we will rebuild with dressed stone;
the fig trees have been felled,
but we will replace them with cedars.”
[Isaiah 9:10]

Yesterday, in an eerie twist of America's fate, President Barack Obama visited ground zero and literally inscribed the One World Trade Center (previously known as the 'Freedom Tower') replacing the World Trade Center Twin Towers in a manner that seems to paraphrase the Isaiah 9:10 prophecy highlighted by the Jewish messianic pastor/rabbi, Jonathan Cahn:

Obama vows "we remember, we rebuild" at World Trade Center

NEW YORK | Thu Jun 14, 2012 7:46pm EDT

(Reuters) - President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama on Thursday toured the soaring skyscraper being built to replace the twin towers destroyed on September 11, 2001, in a poignant visit to mark a new chapter of recovery from the traumatic attack.

Inscribing one of the steel beams that will be part of the building's framework, Obama wrote: "We remember, we rebuild, we come back stronger!" followed by his signature.

Is this some sort of final Isaiah 9:10-like "utterance" by America's (mis)leader on behalf of the people before God's Judgment?

Kosovo Serbs and NATO troops clash in tense north

Fri, 1 Jun 2012 10:18 GMT

* Three Kosovo Serbs and NATO soldier hospitalised

* NATO sends reinforcements to northern Kosovo

* KFOR made a very risky move, says Serb government official (Adds details, quotes)

By Branislav Krstic and Fatos Bytyci

ZVECAN, Kosovo, June 1 (Reuters) - At least three Kosovo Serbs and a NATO soldier were wounded in a gunfight on Friday, as peacekeepers tried to dismantle Serb roadblocks blocking traffic, a Reuters witness said.

NATO troops in the Kosovo Force (KFOR) fired tear gas and small arms and some protesters fired back with handguns.

The troops, in armoured personnel carriers, were confronted by hundreds of Serbs who pelted them with stones near barricades in the villages of Rudare and Dudin Krs outside the town of Zvecan in a Serb-dominated northern area of Kosovo.

The roadblocks are among the last on major roads yet to be dismantled by KFOR. They were erected as part of a long-running Serb campaign to prevent the government of Albanian-majority independent Kosovo from imposing its rule in the area.

"One KFOR soldier has been wounded, has been evacuated and he is stable," said NATO spokesperson in Kosovo Uwe Nowitzki.

"KFOR will not allow the situation to escalate and will use a proportional level of force necessary to maintain a safe and secure environment," he said, adding that the operation to remove the roadblocks was continuing.

Kosovo, which declared independence from Serbia in 2008, is 90 percent ethnic Albanian. But Serbs opposed to independence dominate in a small swathe of the north bordering Serbia which continues to function as part of the Serbian state, resisting efforts by the Kosovo government to extend its authority.

A Reuters witness said KFOR troops from Germany and the United States received reinforcements after initial clashes and were deployed on hills overlooking Rudare. Several NATO helicopters were also flying over the area.

Dragisa Milovic, the mayor of Zvecan which is about 60 km (40 miles) from the capital Pristina, said KFOR had refused to allow Serb medical personnel to help wounded Serbs.

"A (KFOR) commander told me they have the authority to use deadly force on anyone who throws a stone or uses a weapon," he told Reuters.
