God is "The Truth"

An interesting thought.

We can only know truth relatively in this subjective realm by definition. Absolute truth would be eternal and unchanging, no? Yet, where we're at everything is temporal and changing.

Conscious being can be thought of as where we experience "meaning". After all, as decision-makers, we interpret the meaning of our perceived experiences to make choices.

The Creator made the universe so that we could experience His meaning which in noun form is "truth"; the key part of which is "ruth", i.e., compassionate love for others. Hence, the verb form of decisions we should make if we believe in "The Truth" of God, i.e., love thy neighbor as thyself. This is how we can experience and express the eternal meaning of our Creator.

From Wikipedia:

Christianity

The Christian Bible's Second Epistle to the Corinthians is but one place where God is spoken of as the "Father of compassion" and the "God of all comfort". The life of Jesus embodies for Christians the very essence of compassion and relational care. Christ's example challenges Christians to forsake their own desires and to act compassionately towards others, particularly those in need or distress. Jesus assures his listeners in the Sermon on the Mount that, "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy." In the Parable of the Good Samaritan he holds up to his followers the ideal of compassionate conduct.

Now, with regard to compassion for others, how is modern America, and all of humanity for that matter, faring at the current juncture?
